Carey Bailey, DVM

Owner Veterinarian

Dr. Bailey graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She started Tobias Veterinary Services, named after her beloved boxer Toby, out of the back of her Chevrolet Suburban in 2013. When she isn't working, her four kids, two cats, and two dogs (Jorja pictured above) keep her and her husband busy! She is also an avid runner who squeezes in time for the gym and a good book once in a while. 

Laura Axiak, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Axiak is a 2011 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical studies at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, which included focused internships on diagnostic imaging and surgery. She also serves as a Veterinary Field Officer for the United States Army Reserves. When she is not caring for animals, Dr. A enjoys running with her dog, Marvin, swimming, and taking her daughter to Disney World.

Laura Kotinsley, DVM, MS

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Kotinsley graduated from the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and a Master's Degree in Public Health. She and her husband have two young boys, a rescued Pit Bull named Duffy, and two red footed tortoises. In her spare time, Dr. Kotinsley enjoys crafting, cooking, listening to music, and going to the beach with family and friends.

Tina Grove, DVM, MS, DACLAM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Tina Grove knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from an early age. She worked as a veterinary technician at a small animal clinic in college, and in large animal before vet school. She graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, simultaneously achieving a Masters in Laboratory Medicine. She completed formal residency training at Yale University and obtained specialty board certification in 2013. Her professional interests include the care of exotics pets, particularly monkeys, and a commitment to biomedical research for the advancement of health of animals and humans. She has quite the housefull of critters, including 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 horses, which she spends most of her spare time with competing in barrel racing.
